I love animals, so much so that I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite one. As a child my family pets included cats, dogs and fish. I helped out at my local riding school before my lessons: mucking out; grooming; cleaning tack; tacking up; and assisting in class. I even helped to break in a foal who was ready to be ridden! Rather predictably, one of my heroes was David Attenborough and I'd love to see the gorillas in the wild one day.

As an adult, my love of animals continued. I am the proud owner of one rather sarcastic tortoise and a very large silly billy furbaby, otherwise known as MonkeyCat, (so I know first hand the value of a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter, who will care for your animal and provide love and attention while you are away). I also volunteer dog walked, for a rescue that specialised in hard to home dogs, who had been in kennels for a long time.
